Dear Parents/Guardians,

As you would be aware, as of Tuesday 24th March, in line with the direction of the Premier Daniel Andrews, all schools will be closed. Escuela Hispanoamericana is planning and preparing for the transition to flexible and remote learning.

We want to acknowledge these are difficult times for everyone and Escuela Hispanoamericana is committed to looking after the wellbeing and health of our school community. It has therefore been agreed that we cease class at Noble Park Secondary until instructed otherwise by the Department of Education. Escuela Hispanoamericana not only wants to support quarantine but also the learning and development of our students.  Term two will commence Friday 17 April in a remote learning environment. Notices to all parents will be circulated advising how to connect to the learning platform before school resumes.

HOLA ... Enrol now for 2020

Give your children the joy of learning Spanish!

The Escuela Hispanoamericana is Melbourne's only community based not-for-profit school teaching Spanish language and Hispano-American culture to primary and secondary students, serving the community for 40 years.

In 2019, over 90 students aged 5 to 17 years old took advantage of the school’s Friday evening classes.

Based at Noble Park Secondary College, we are supported by the Department of Education and Training and accredited by the Victorian Curriculum and Assessment Authority as a single language provider of VCE Spanish.

Our mission is to keep Spanish alive, by providing children of the Spanish speaking community with Spanish language classes and activities in a professional educational environment.

  • Spanish classes every Friday evening 6pm to 9pm during Victorian school terms.
  • Levels range from foundation to Year 12 VCE.
  • Fully child safe and compliant.
  • A quality program based on sound educational principles and the latest learning methods aligned to the Victorian Curriculum.
  • Highly qualified and experienced teachers with ongoing professional development to keep up with the latest trends in language education.
  • A Teacher’s Coordinator who ensures our program’s smooth running.
  • A teacher–student ratio of 1 to 15, ensuring classes are kept small with excellent levels of individual attention and instruction.
  • A school canteen to purchase a range of foods or enjoy a free cup of coffee or tea.
